Unknown is a valid answer
Not knowing your birth time is common. It may be missing from the documents you have, or a relative may only remember “in the morning.” It is better to record uncertainty than turn an estimate into a certainty.
If you want to look for it, check available birth records or ask your family. Access and contents vary by country and registry. An approximate memory offers context, but it is not equivalent to a documented time.
What changes over a day
Celestial bodies move at different rates. The Moon changes position faster than the outer planets, so a date without a time may correspond to more than one Moon sign. Other bodies also need uncertainty preserved near a transition.
The rising sign and houses depend on the birth moment and location. A convenient time such as noon should not be presented as your birth time or as a reliable basis for these parts of a reading.
Time zones are part of the input
09:00 in one city is not the same instant as 09:00 in another part of the world. Clock rules may also have changed since your birth. Applying your phone’s current offset to a historical date is not enough.
When clocks change, some local times do not exist and others happen twice. A responsible tool detects these cases and asks for clarification rather than silently choosing an answer.
