Choose one situation
Ask a question that leaves room for action, such as “How can I prepare for a conversation I have been putting off?” Avoid combining several issues. Before revealing the cards, read the three positions: each tells you which question to bring to its image.
Read from left to right
The first card invites you to observe the situation. The second offers another viewpoint. The third helps you imagine a possible step. If the Hermit appears in the second position, you might ask what a pause could help you understand; it does not mean you must isolate yourself. Love, money and work practices use different positions, written above each card.
Bring the ideas together
Complete this sentence: “I notice…, I could reconsider…, and this week I will try…”. Keep what makes sense and leave what does not. Cards are distinct within each spread but may repeat across spreads. You do not need to keep drawing until you get a pleasing answer.
