Start with what is within your control
It is natural to want a clear answer when something matters. A card cannot establish what will happen or what someone secretly feels. In this exercise, use the image to notice a need, an assumption or a possible next step. Write down the decision you face before drawing.
Change the question
Keep the subject, but ask about something you can observe or do. These are examples to adapt to your own situation.
| Instead of… | Try asking… |
|---|---|
| Will they come back? | What do I need before considering contact again? |
| Will I get the job? | What can I prepare, and what information am I missing? |
| Should I say yes? | What would I need to agree without ignoring my limits? |
Use one card, then pause
- Describe one detail in the picture before reading its meaning.
- Write one interpretation that fits and one that does not.
- Choose a small action you can check outside the reading.
Close with a real-world check
For example, a card that reminds you of balance might prompt you to check your schedule before accepting an invitation. The useful result is the check you make, not a yes or no assigned to the card.
