Palm reading: left hand, right hand or both?

Our reading uses both hands

If you are wondering which hand to photograph, YourLuckyAstro uses both: one picture of your left palm and one of your right. Each image keeps its own observations. You also tell us your dominant hand as context; we do not infer it from the photograph.

We do not assign one hand to women and the other to men, or present one as the past and the other as the future. The aim is to observe what you can distinguish in each palm and keep the origin of your notes clear.

Prepare a clear photograph of each palm

Find soft light and a simple background. Open your hand naturally, palm towards the camera, and include your fingers and the start of your wrist. Avoid forcing the pose: a comfortable hand makes it easier to take the picture again if needed.

• Photograph one hand at a time and check that it is in focus.
• Leave space around your fingers so they are not cropped.
• Avoid glare, strong shadows and filters that erase or alter creases.
• Put each image in its left or right slot; do not rely solely on a camera preview that may be mirrored.

Describe only what you can see

The current reading is guided observation: you describe the heart, head and life lines using the manual’s illustrations. The system does not automatically detect lines in your photograph. If an area is unclear, you can choose ‘I cannot tell’.

Review each hand separately. A crease may look different between photographs because of the angle or lighting; every difference does not need an interpretation. Record what you observe before considering what it might suggest symbolically.

Read the result alongside your photograph

The PDF brings together both images and the observations you supplied. If you could not distinguish a line, its interpretation is omitted. The traditional name ‘life line’ does not establish how long you will live or assess your health.
